StudioYT - Terms & Conditions
These are the terms that govern how we work together. We’ve done our best to make them readable and fair – because we think good working relationships start with clarity, not confusion.
By using our website or engaging StudioYT for any service, you’re agreeing to these terms. If something isn’t clear or you have questions before signing on, just ask us.
Overview of StudioYT - Terms & Conditions
1. Who These Terms Apply To
These Terms & Conditions apply to:
- Anyone who visits or uses the StudioYT website
- Businesses or individuals who enquire about, request or engage our services
- Clients who enter into a formal agreement with StudioYT for content, production or training work
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. StudioYT operates out of Dubai, and that’s the jurisdiction that applies to any disputes.
2. Our Services
StudioYT provides AI-powered content and media services, including but not limited to:
- Podcast production and IP development
- Social media management (SMaaS)
- Video and visual production
- Post-production editing and design
- Trainings, workshops and media coaching
The specific scope, timeline and deliverables for your project will be outlined in a separate proposal, service agreement or statement of work. These Terms & Conditions sit beneath that – they’re the foundation everything else is built on.
We reserve the right to update or change our service offerings at any time. If something we’ve promised you changes, we’ll tell you before it affects your project.
3. Using Our Website
- Our website exists to tell you about who we are and what we do. When you use it, we ask that you:
- Don’t use it for anything unlawful, harmful or deceptive
- Don’t attempt to hack, scrape or disrupt the site’s functionality
- Don’t misrepresent who you are when contacting us through the site
- Don’t copy or reproduce our content without permission
We do our best to keep the website accurate and up to date, but we can’t guarantee every piece of information is perfect at all times. If something looks wrong, let us know.
4. Intellectual Property
Our Content
Everything on the StudioYT website – the copy, the design, the brand name, the Y Theory framework – belongs to us. You’re welcome to reference or share it with credit, but you can’t reproduce, repurpose or use it commercially without our permission.
Content We Create For You
Once a project is paid in full, the deliverables we create for you are yours. You own them. We’ll spell out the specifics of IP ownership clearly in your project agreement.
Until payment is received in full, StudioYT retains ownership of all work produced. We won’t hand over final files until we’re paid – that’s a straightforward protection for both sides.
Your Content
When you share materials with us – footage, brand assets, documents, messaging – you’re giving us permission to use that content for the purposes of delivering your project. We won’t use your content for anything else.
5. Project Agreements and Payment
The financial and project specifics – pricing, timelines, revision rounds, payment schedules – will always be set out clearly before work begins. You’ll never get a surprise invoice from us.
Payment Terms
- Projects typically require a deposit before work commences
- Payment schedules and amounts will be agreed in your proposal or contract
- Late payments may result in paused work until the balance is settled
- Invoices are payable within the terms stated on each invoice
Revisions and Scope
We build a clear scope of work before we start. If you request changes that fall outside the agreed scope, we’ll let you know and agree on how to handle the additional work before we proceed. We don’t add costs without telling you first.
Cancellations
If you need to cancel a project mid-way, we’ll invoice for the work completed to date. Deposits are generally non-refundable as they cover our time to plan, research and begin the project. Your project agreement will have specifics.
6. Confidentiality
We understand that you’ll often share sensitive business information with us – strategies, internal data, client names, upcoming product launches. We treat everything you share with us as confidential.
We won’t discuss, share or use your confidential information with anyone outside of the project team without your permission. If a project requires us to sign a formal NDA, we’re happy to do that.
In return, we ask that you treat our internal processes, pricing structures, Y Theory methodology and creative approaches with the same respect.
7. Testimonials and Portfolio
We love to show the world the work we’re proud of. Unless you specifically ask us not to, we may reference your brand name and the type of work we did together in our portfolio or marketing materials.
We’ll always ask before using specific quotes, testimonials, images or video content that features you or your brand. Your explicit permission comes first.
8. Warranties and Disclaimers
We do our best work for every client, every time. That said, we want to be honest about what we can and can’t guarantee.
What We Promise
- We’ll deliver the agreed scope of work to a professional standard
- We’ll communicate with you clearly and honestly throughout the project
- We’ll protect your confidential information
- We’ll tell you promptly if something isn’t going to plan
What We Can’t Guarantee
- Specific outcomes like follower counts, engagement rates, lead generation numbers or revenue increases – content performance depends on many variables outside our control
- That third-party platforms (YouTube, Instagram, Spotify, LinkedIn) will always work exactly as expected
- That our website will be completely error-free or always available
Content and marketing results depend on a wide range of factors – your industry, your audience, market conditions, platform algorithms and more. We’ll always work toward results, but we won’t promise specific numbers we can’t control.
9. Limitation of Liability
StudioYT’s liability to you for any claim related to our services is limited to the amount you paid us for the specific project or service that gave rise to the claim.
We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages – things like lost business, lost revenue or reputational harm that may result from issues with our work. This doesn’t affect your statutory rights.
10. Third-Party Platforms and Tools
We use various third-party platforms to deliver our services – distribution platforms like Spotify and YouTube, social media platforms, editing tools and AI systems. We are not responsible for changes, outages, policy updates or decisions made by those platforms.
If a platform changes its algorithm, removes content or updates its rules in a way that affects your project, we’ll adapt our approach and work through it with you – but we can’t be held responsible for what third-party companies decide to do.
11. Disputes
We genuinely hope it never comes to this, but if something goes wrong and we can’t resolve it through conversation, here’s how we handle disputes:
- We’ll always try to resolve issues informally first – a direct conversation goes a long way
- If that doesn’t work, disputes will be subject to the laws and courts of the UAE
- Both parties agree to attempt mediation before escalating to legal action
We’re a people-first business. If something’s gone wrong, we want to fix it. Please always reach out to us directly before escalating.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. When we do, we’ll post the updated version on our website and update the effective date at the top. If the changes are significant and you’re an active client, we’ll notify you directly.
Continuing to work with us after an update means you’ve accepted the new terms.
13. Contact
Questions, concerns or just want to talk something through before committing? We’re easy to reach and genuinely happy to have that conversation.
